HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK? The sooner the better! Dates tend to fill up pretty quickly - especially during the summer and fall, so the sooner you reach out to me, the more likely you are to get your desired date!
WHERE WILL MY SESSION TAKE PLACE? We will choose out of your favorite locations, places you love and style your shoot based around that. I will help you plan every detail. Sessions will take place in the morning or evening for the best lighting.
HOW LONG DOES MY SESSION LAST? Most sessions are typically 2-3 hours giving you plenty of time for changing.
HOW MANY OUTFITS WILL I GET TO WEAR? Clients can bring up to 4 different looks. Think accessories, they can transform an outfit in minutes. Sunglasses, hats, scarves, jewelry are a few ways to tie your outfit together.
DO YOU OFFER A YEARBOOK PHOTO? Yes, it will be taken at my home the day of your session unless we select a different date. If you need me to supply it to your school please provide appropriate sizing and contact information.
I AM NOT COMFORTABLE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA. WILL MY PHOTOS TURN OUT OKAY? Unless you've modeled professionally, it is normal to feel awkward the first few minutes. As the session goes on and I coach you from beginning to end, you'll find that being photographed can actually be fun.
WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE DUE TO WEATHER? I want to make sure you have the most beautiful photographs possible and if the weather is not going to allow that to happen we will reschedule. Michigan weather is so unpredictable that generally rescheduling for weather does not occur until the evening before or the day of the session.
WHERE WILL I CHANGE? I have a pop-up changing station that I bring along, although most of my seniors prefer to change in the car.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A SITTING FEE AND ALL OTHER FEES? The $175 sitting fee covers your photo session within 30 miles of Grand Blanc, MI. Travel can be added for an additional fee. A sitting fee does not include digital images or print products. You have the option of purchasing a digital collection or purchasing print products through the a la carte section.
WHAT DOES MINIMUM INVESTMENT MEAN? This is the minimum amount you must invest if purchasing a la carte prints without a digital collection. In this situation the minimum print order would be $350. However there is not a minimum order when adding onto a digital collection.
WHEN WILL I GET TO SEE THE IMAGES FROM MY SESSION? Other than a few sneak peeks, you will see all your images in an online gallery approximately 2 weeks after the session takes place. Once you have received the gallery you will have two weeks to view all of your images and place your order. Payment in full is required when placing orders.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER? Your print products and digital images will typically be ready 1-2 weeks after ordering.
HOW LONG DO YOU KEEP MY IMAGES? Bella Vita Photography will archive your final images for one year only after your session.
Please be aware that all images taken by Bella Vita Photography are the property of this studio, these images are protected under U.S. Federal Copyright Laws and cannot be printed, scanned or duplicated in any manner or used for any purpose without written consent.
You will receive a print release on all purchased digital images with full printing rights.
